USA: Parrish joined Levinsohn Textile as Vice President

Levinsohn Textile, a New York-based provider of home furnishings and accessories, has announced the addition of Lara Parrish as Vice President of Sales. With more than 15 years of experience in retail sales and management roles, Ms. Parrish will direct Levinsohn's sales force, as well as co-ordinate the company's new product initiative of BackDrop™ Upholstered Headboards.

"In our search for a Vice President of Sales, we targeted someone with product launch experience who could accelerate the growth of our new division. We are confident that Lara's track record of success in retail sales, combined with her experience in motivating and directing sales teams, will get us there," said Adam Levinsohn, Levinsohn Textile's President. "We're pleased to welcome Lara to our team."

I look forward to building our Backdrops™ division into a significant category.
Ms. Parrish has previously held senior sales positions at companies in the housewares industry, including Aero Plastics, Dial Industries and Innovative Cooking Enterprises. Ms. Parrish has extensive merger and acquisition experience, and most recently at Aero she integrated Holiday Housewares into the Aero brand.

"With the current industry consolidation and the launch of our headboard division, Levinsohn Textile is poised for record growth, making my decision to join the strong management team here an easy one," said Parrish. "I look forward to building our Backdrops™ division into a significant category."
