InkLink, a not-profit initiative for creative education in association with Koolkart (, India's largest social shopping community, brought a unique fest to Pondicherry on 19th and 20th of January 2013.

For creatives and creative enthusiasts, the DAM (Design.Art.Music) Fest was an experiential bliss to enjoy the vibe of creativity amid green and fresh air of cool spiritual Pondicherry. It was a platform to promote and interact with Gen Next designers, artists and performers from across the country. A unique fest that seamlessly interfaced among design, art and music enthusiasts through creative edu-fun interactive games, designer's forum, inspirational activities, Art-Music Jamming, exhibitions, designer's bazaar, with a dose of live art and music

Speaking about the event, InkLink Founder and NIFT Professor, Kaustav Sen Gupta said "With a believe that expressing creativity is the basic right of an individual, InkLink started its voyage to break the institutional clustering of education by creative detoxification to nurture Gen Next. After educating 23,000 visitors per week in Facebook , InkLink created the D.A.M. Fest with the sheer need of a cross domain fest that provides an interactive platform for creative to connect, appreciate each other's works, exhibit and sell. It is also for everyone to enjoy the intense cross domain creative interaction via edu-fun workshops, exhibitions and live jamming (Bands & DJ beats). D.AM provides a platform to Gen Next creative enthusiasts to sell their niche products to the right consumer. InkLink D.A.M fest is purely not for profit and appreciates the collective effort of many young creative across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry."

Kaustav adds "We are arranging events on team building, creative thinking, logo designing, typography & branding, Art-Music Jamming & Junk Art. So it's an open event and anybody can either participate or watch the events to appreciate and learn. No pre-requisite knowledge is required."
