GLOBAL: DC Fashion Design House Moojoo Ken Releases New Collection

Moojoo ken 's Filling Station Collection takes its inspiration from the effects the current climate of uncertainty. Designed in three different sizes and three different color schemes, the new collection utilizes stark red, sooty black and solemn gray as a palate emphasizing the fragile market economy.

The big red barrel handbag bursts with three huge leather sections capable of holding an unlimited amount of anything you need to carry. Accented in black leather, it has a retro 50s feel. The gray middle sister is accented on the front with a pleated panel framing a red and gray moojoo ken pattern, almost resembling a complicated stock market report. This is the perfect all occasion bag. Lastly, the black baby sister is an adorable evening bag, suitable for carrying those all-important necessities without much fuss. Like a baby elephant, it sports big floppy wings on the handle that reveal a gray and black moojoo ken design.

To make this Filling Station collection complete, moojoo ken has added a super stylish gray, open-toed pump. Or if you prefer, there is also a classic black slingback pump trimmed with red patent leather, tuxedo style. Both styles go perfectly with any of their Filling Station handbag cousins. If all of that were not enough—a scarf! Bringing it all together, the Filling Station collection will also have a steel-gray scarf emblazoned with the filling station pattern and moojoo ken logo. Another 100% hand-rolled silk twill square (36 inches) to add to the celebrated Washington, DC fashion house’s ever-growing collection.
