INDIA: Madame's Winter Collection ' 08: Get Mesmerised!
MADAME , a brand synonymous with chic women's western apparels, is all geared up to tempt women to try its outfits with its launch of Winter/Fall 2008 collection. The collection has three categories - casual, party and formal wear. The trendy collection is available at all Madame and multi-brand outlets. The collection highlights the combination of eye-soothing colours like peacock blended with greys, red to ivory whites and chocolaty caramels. It also highlights tweeds, which are assisted by spandex viscose blends, cotton and blended wool. Some of the collections are as follows: Over The Rainbow ‘Over The Rainbow’ is a range of casual wear urging women to try a different look every day. The collection comprises of jeans in a variety of fits, cotton pullovers, cotton jackets, corduroy jackets, tops, sweat shirts, track bottoms, tunics, long skirts and blazers. Pearls From The Ocean ‘Pearls From The Ocean’ is a hip-hop party collection for those looking out for breaking away from the regular ethnic wear. This collection is a blend of metallic threads and surface ornamentation with loads of silvery sequence, crystals and an addition of studded belts, anklets and pendants to add zing. The Enchant 'The Enchant' is a special limited collection of formal wear. It's made with an intention to make a woman look elegant 24x7, be at office, shopping or partying. This collection is for those special ones desiring to wear a sophisticated and gaudy look. The core range includes short skirts, tweed and checkered coats, formal trousers and business suits. Commenting upon the new winter collection, Madame design and development director Saroj Chand said, "The collection has all in it to cast a spell on women and tempt them to try the classy and trendy winter wears. Madame aims at dressing every woman with unique exclusive style, vibrancy and grace. It also aims at manufacturing the finer knits from organic cotton causing less damage to mother earth." Talking about Madame's future plans, Madame director Bipin Jain said, "Madame has always been a brand leader aiming at customer innovation designs. To increase our reach to customers, we have plans to add 50 exclusive stores to take the tally to 100 by 2010 end." Launched in 1993, Madame has created a niche for itself among women. This is quite evident from the multiplying stores and turnover. Madame has grown five times in five years and was first to provide Indian adaptation of women’s western wear. It has a team of competent fashion designers and is focused on research and development. Madame produces and provides distinctive styles continuously.
