INDIA: LFW 2009: Sailex Created A Draped Women's Wear Collection

Drapes and ombre shading came together for minis in the collection by Sailex. Using fabric braiding as one of main detailing, the designer added it as shoulder straps or on bodices and halters. The colour story was a pastel one which almost blended with the base ivory tones, as brown, peach, grey, purple flowed into the shading. Satin, chiffon and georgette were innovatively layered and draped for the Grecian inspired minis, Capris, harem pants and cowled minis and trousers were graceful creations. There was alot of back interest with scooped necklines and the finale asymmetric pink shaded gown that doubled up as a cape from the hemline was ultra glamorous. It was indeed a very
scintillating stylish feminine line.
