Grace SooHoo, the President of Simple Necessit-Ease grew up in the garment industry of New York City. Her family's continued success in the business, gave her the resources to manufacture and test the panties. Shortly after the launch of the on-line store in 2004, the company was at a stand still due to the diagnosis of Ms. SooHoo's 5-year-old son Tyler of brain cancer. On August 26, 2005, Tyler lost his battle and the company has turned a different direction.
