UK: Arco Arrives in India

Arco, the UK's market leader in the supply of personal protection, clothing, footwear, gloves and workplace safety products, has officially arrived in the Indian market. Mrs. Lila Poonawalla, Chairperson Lila Poonawalla Foundation and Mr. Anant Nadkarni, Vice President, Group Corporate Sustainability, Tata Group, graced the launch function held here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thomas Martin, Joint Managing Director, Arco said "Arco over the years has earned a reputation of being known as 'outrageously brilliant in safety'. We provide business customers with easy and efficient access to safety expertise and the most comprehensive choice of products and services at a very competitive price."

Arco has plans to leverage its UK value proposition and create brand awareness and a reputation as the 'safety expert' in the Indian market. The marketing strategy is aimed at targeting the manufacturing and heavy engineering companies who employ over 500 people within 100-150 kms of Pune.

The company has plans to extend the network of Arco branches across India.
