USA: Pearl Jewelry Designer Donna Chambers Launches New Website

New York jewelry designer and manufacturer, Donna Chambers, makes her latest debut with the re-launch of her website pearl jewelry is a click away and just in time for Spring/Summer and Mother's Day.

The history and beauty of these pearl gambling chips are inspiring to my creative process  "Response and feedback to my Chamber's new site has been tremendous," says Donna. So far the website has received thousands of visitors with dealers, existing and new, private collectors, and discerning consumers, placing large orders to prepare for the upcoming seasons and holidays. The new website coincides with the publishing of a new catalog, which features many of Donna's most popular and favorite pieces, along with exhibiting at the premier international jewelry show, JCK Las Vegas 2008.

The bold designs of Donna Chambers are taking the jewelry industry's elite by surprise, melding superior and quality materials with handmade attention to elaborate details. This applies to every piece designed and made in her facility, from men's and women's rings, bracelets, cameos, or ensembles. Donna's artistic imagination, which combines elegant lines with classic and modern design, truly transcends time. Her jewelry focuses primarily on the use of antique mother of pearl Chinese gambling chips. These unusual handcrafted Chinese miniature works of art date back more than 250 years and were once used for gambling by British Royalty.

"There are other companies that carry the wonderful antique gambling chips, but the creativity that goes in to my product combined with the history of the chip is more than one can ask for," says Donna. "The history and beauty of these pearl gambling chips are inspiring to my creative process," she remarks.

Donna Chambers offers a product line that is made in the USA, limited in edition, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing the authenticity of the gambling chips. Every piece is designed and crafted in Donna's facility in White Plains, New York at a time when more and more jewelry is mass manufactured overseas.

Donna Chambers is by no means a new comer in the business with a Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute in New York City and over 30 years experience in the jewelry industry. Her first collection premiered at the New York Jewelers of America Show in 1981.

"When I think back, I've always challenged my creativity by combining the old with the new, the classic with the contemporary. I guess that's how I came to refer to my design philosophy as a marriage of history and style", she concludes. "There is an old saying: there is nothing new and history always repeats itself."
