UKRAINE: Chiasso Furnishes MTV's The Real World: Hollywood

Chiasso , a multi-channel retailer of modern home furnishings, has provided furniture and accessories for the 20th season of MTV's The Real World. The popular reality series' Hollywood edition premiered April 16th. Chiasso was chosen a major home d cor supplier for the season after a search conducted by the show's production company, Bunim-Murray.

Charles Aubrey, The Real World: Hollywood production designer, "was inspired by Chiasso's unique and modern furnishings, not to mention the incredible quality and durability of their products. Chiasso's collection is so diverse, I could easily pair unexpected furniture pieces and accessories together to create a rich depth to each space."

"It has been a wonderful opportunity to work with The Real World crew," says Chiasso President Chris Segal. "We had a great time pulling together the collection of modern furniture and accessories and are excited that The Real World set designers chose our collection to outfit the 20th season of the hippest set on television. We know that people look to The Real World house for ideas and inspiration and we are proud to have provided great design for the set in Hollywood," adds Segal.

A peak into the house tells you that low-tech has officially met hi-tech, as vintage and modern pieces are displayed together to create an interesting montage. For example, Chiasso's Lola chaise looks fabulous as it sits in the "telephone room," in front of a shelf of vintage telephones, typewriters, and televisions. An eclectic mix of Chiasso modern furniture and accessories were also brilliantly pulled together with opulent chandeliers and artwork to form "the look". Most importantly, however, the house is eco-friendly, and touts the use of sustainable and recycled materials. In the kitchen, for instance, fabulous fruit bowls and kitchen utensils from Chiasso rest on an IceStone countertop made of recycled glass, and Chiasso's natural bamboo floor screen graces the outdoor scene.
