MANCHESTER: Radisson Manchester Hotel Center of New Hampshire will host a
Knit & Crochet Show from July 13-15.
The Knit & Crochet Show is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The show will display many aisles of unusual yarns, supplies, haute couture accessories and garment closures, and many books related to the subject.
Yarn manufacturer Coats & Clark will sponsor a free 45-minute Teach Me 2 Crochet/Knit sessions for anyone already on the Knit & Crochet Show market floor. A complimentary starter kit is part of the deal, including a beginner pattern.
More than 300 hours of classes by stitching experts will feature everything from beginner technique secrets to how to design and professionalize your own sweater.
Children under 12 are allowed a free entry. Tickets are $10 for adults.
The Knit & Crochet Show is co-sponsored by the Crochet Guild of America and The Knitting Guild Association, which together have a national membership of nearly 15,000.
Show producer is Offinger Management Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The 2007 Summer Knit & Crochet Show serves as the annual national "Chain Link" conference for Crochet Guild of America. Its keynote address will be presented on Thursday evening by Cari Clement, Director of Fashion and Design for Caron International.
