CAMEROON: Grain cotton output expected to fall considerably
[Nov 02, 2007] Grain cotton output in Cameroon will plunge by nearly a quarter this season due to irregular rains, high input costs and low prices.Production is set to fall to 144,200 tonnes in the 2007/08 season, from 187,448 in 2006/07 and 220,864 tonnes the previous year.
