"Anamika Khanna’s ANA MIKA Spring/Summer 2007 collection named as ‘The Botanist’ waved soft, gentle, peaceful, and harmonious air on the first day of WIFW. Anamika’s creations drifted in Muslin and Chiffon with lighter shades like beige, soft green, white, old rose pink, pista with feel of hombre, and pinch of gold and glitter. His line ranged from swing to drape dresses with side ties, tops, and cotton stretch leggings, delicate chiffon slips that peeped tantalizingly from flowing dresses, long layered gowns, and trapeze tops. Khanna’s summer wear collection floated down the ramp presenting a delicate, feminine, and beautiful look. Tiny pin tucks, antique prints of plants and multi-ribbon edges as layered garments like hooded long dresses, wrap tops, summer coats worn over hemp shorts, textured dresses with Empire line and silk chiffon capes were the important elements of the range.
