Lakme India Fashion Week 2003 :: Rajesh Pratap Singh

Rajesh Pratap Singh graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in the class of 1994. Before Joining NIFT, he trained under David Abraham as an undergraduate. Subsequently Rajesh launched his design label called 'Pratap'. Rajesh wanted this label to be the signature of today's woman - intelligent, modern and independent. In the past Rajesh has represented India in various distinguished fashion events abroad. He has been a part of the Hong Kong Fashion Week and the Apparel Export Promotion Roadshow organized by the ministry of Textiles, Government of India, which toured New York, London and Paris and I.T.P.O. shows at Tel Aviv and Osaka. Rajesh's trademark is his precision garment engineering for a perfect fit and finish. The silhouettes and styles are kept minimal. The focus is on fabric selection to enhance style and comfort. At 'Pratap' considerable amount of resources are directed towards fabric development in terms of weave and texture.
