Abhishek Gupta, winner of the Air France International Young Fashion Designers Award and a finalist In the Smirnoff International Design Contest was the proud recipient of the title 'Breakthrough Designer 2004' at the Kingfisher Fashion Awards in Goa. He pays great attention to cut and structure and his clothes portray a freshness of perspective, simple lines and assiduous detail. Cutting most patterns himself in an attempt to engineer his outfits for a better fit, he works very closely with his tailors and craftsmen to achieve an uncompromising finish. He likes to create textures on fabric using traditional and modem techniques to achieve a look that is unique and contemporary.LIFW’05 Collection
