       Sonam Dubal

 
 
 
 

A NIFT graduate, Sonam started his design studio Sanskar' in 1999. His creations portray a beautiful blend of Indian and oriental styles. He uses fabrics mainly silks and its various textures created through silk-stitched stripes, floral extensions in machine embroidery and intricate hand embroidery like Zardozi with coins and resham.

LIFW collection 2004
'Caravan' illustrates colors of the earth, the colors of travel, colors and fabrics that trace their history to the long past. The color palate consists of Deep Burgundy, Orchid Pink, Thai Purple, Red and Mid-night Blue which are contrasted with black.
