Lina started her career by designing in 1987 for her retail outlet at the Oberoi, Mumbai. Retailing through her label 'LINARIKA' she also retails form 30 stores in India as well as the U.K, Southeast Africa and the Middle East.

Following the philosophy of 'less is more'; her creations are essentially minimalistic and are aimed at the urban woman with emphasis being on wearability.
