Other Designers:

Sanjay Malhotra

Sanjay Malhotra designs formal western and fusion clothing. His forte is innovative cuts, superior quality fabrics and an impeccable finish.

He uses a limited colour palette because he says too much colour confuses him. He prefers to play with fabrics and believes in minimum embellishments.

Practicality is his focus because he designs for everyday women who love to look beautiful but do not have the physical attributes of models. His focus is creating contemporary, practical silhouettes that flatter and mirror the spirit of inner freedom.

He sells his line through his store called Déjà vu-so named because it emphasises his idea, of allowing women to slip into an image that they had only dreamed of so far.

His designs are bold and innovative yet impeccable and timeless.

Theme of the Collection: The collection named Life Through My Rose Coloured Glasses showcases human existence in all its flavours such as happiness, romance, love and contentment. This collection is my attempt to portray life in all its beauty and glory. My eternal belief is that life is beautiful despite its challenges, unpredictability and setbacks, which should only motivate one to move ahead with a greater determination. The collection is all about high end diffusion clothing catering to needs of both international and national clients.

The mood of the collection is joyous, playful, and exuberant. The colours have been borrowed from Mother Nature herself. The palette is playful cacophony of yellows, blues, pinks and lilacs accentuated with red, gold and silver. The fabrics used in the collection are chiffons (prints and plains), georgettes, silks, laces, voiles, nets (plain and textured),tanchois, denim, brocades. I have also, used the trims of fur, feathers, leather and suede to add to the glamour quotient of the collection.
