 Payal's tryst with fashion began more than a decade ago, when she bagged the first "Shoppers' Stop Designer of the Year" award at 15. Payal has dared to go where few others have ventured, introducing relatively unheard of concepts in an otherwise traditional apparel industry. Wearability, versatility, and comfort are her forte.
Her collections have been shown at fashion weeks like the Singapore Fashion Festival and the Fashion Week of the Americas in Miami.
Today the 'Payal Singhal' label stocks with stores all over the world and retails through her website www.payalsinghal.com. Her flagship stores are in Mumbai and New York.
Theme of the Collection: The Payal Singhal Spring-Summer 2007 collection is a runway collage of the quintessential New York fashionista. She works in publishing, parties with Paris (Hilton of course!), visits the galleries and lunches with the Girls! The clothes are fun, flirty and functional.
