Nalanda Bhandari
I started my label NASHA by Nalanda Bhandari 4 years ago. The first retail outlet where Nasha featured was Ensemble Mumbai, from there on I proceeded to Ensemble Delhi and Amara Mumbai, Cypress Mumbai, Hot Pink by Marie Helene De Tialac at Courtyard, Mumbai and Hot Pink, Jaipur. Other than these I supply to couple of small outlets in London on Sloane St., and to a Greek Lady who markets my label in London and Greece. Nasha also goes in small quantities to Spain, Hong Kong and South Africa.
As for my line its feminine and high on quality, cut and finish that compliment the form of a woman and simply talks more of her confidence.
The collection presently in stores is a summer look in whites, vibrant colors of Mul, Chiffons, Lace Crochet and Embroidery. The collection in process is festive for Diwali and New Years.
Recently I have branched along with a partner, Sujata Bhandari, a range of Nasha Jewelry, released so far only in London, hoping to initiate in Mumbai by the year end. I have a fully functioning office & workshop in Fountain, Mumbai.
Theme of the Collection: The Free Spirit – She is a woman of the world; she`s coy, sensual and sexual. She knows who she is and what she likes and knows how to get what she wants. There is a rebel in her and she`s not a trend follower. She`s inspired by different looks and incorporates them into her own individualistic style. She has a zest for life and has the guts to live it to the fullest. The NASHA Signature logo of the Rose intertwined with the Hearts has been incorporated into the collection in different ways as a constant reminder of Love, Strength and Beauty.
