Leonard
Daniel Tribouillard creates the Company Leonard Fashion in 1958. After 10 years of running, from his first creation `the printed fully-fashioned pullovers`, he starts, in 1968, the ready-to-wear and showed his first collection of printed silk jersey. In 1969 Daniel Tribouillard opens the company Leonard parfums. The first Leonard boutique is opened in 1970, in Paris, and it is the starting point to create Boutiques all over the world.
As of today, Leonard has 125 exclusive boutiques all over the world including 106 in Japan. The accessories become an important part of the Leonard products and, today, this brand, member of the chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne, has a worldwide turnover of more than Euros 100.000.000. Leonard asserts itself in the countries all around the world and, today, the Leonard image is a vehicle to develop the business, printing its recognisable style all around the world onto high quality products.
Theme of the Collection: A play with volumes which are graphic or at times cubic with softly rounded sleeves giving an airy contrast to fluid draped shapes in silk jersey and chiffon. Peach terrycloth beach dresses scattered with orange flowers, tent dresses mixing prints or aqua and navy multistripes, sun dresses with wide straps in solid caramels and white matte leather insets, draped dresses in grey and white motives, waffled vanilla and purple organza dresses embroidered with striped cream and mauve sequins and long backless dresses in waffled white and violet crepon. Belt buckles are enameled with the house’s emblem : the orchid. Draped evening bathing suits subtly cut in a turquoise and white Copt print and elegant combi-shorts for sunny climates
