 Year 2008, Amalraj Sengupta, graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata in Fashion Design being awarded with the USHA NIFT AWARD for best garment construction for his graduating design collection as well as academic excellence and community service award during the 14th convocation by the then textile minister for all over performance in collage.
The basic concept of the label "AMALRAJ SENGUPTA" is futuristic gen-next, which takes into account a structural experimentation in avant-garde philosophy.
For me fashion is a form of art to express my thoughts and bringing them to reality my design philosophy as tomorrows fashion designer is being original, creative, commercial, crazy and combining fashion with function.
