Sudhir and Tapash are graduates of NIFT, at which Sudhir bagged the award for 'Best use of traditional skill in contemprory styling.' Stae designs its garments simple, sensual and minimalist. Their clothes are simple in cuts and the styling extremely wearable. In the first show of LFW A/W 07- 08, the duo were featured by Vogue as the best of 9 promising Indian and International designers. The collection was also featured in many international and Indian magazines with a good coverage in newspapers.
