Creating a sartorial sensation at Lakme Fashion Week was the Park Avenue Autumn/Winter 2008 collection for men and women. Creators of the best formal wear in the country; the Park Avenue collection was a slick, elegant presentation of garments in fabrics of a very high standard and quality.
Men's wear was presented in three ranges in the colour palette of light blue, grey, earthy shades, deep burgundy, maroon, black and white.
The silhouettes of both the collections were slim with men's jackets cut close to the body and having double back vents; while women's wear had short jackets with flap pockets. Pencil skirts with double breasted jackets, satin blousons, elegant autumn coats and a 5-button jacket teamed with black lace panelled skirt gave some formal wear options.
The finale of the show was the man behind the brand, Mr. Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Ltd and Mrs. Nawaz Singhania who walked down the ramp wearing creations from the Park Avenue Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.
Park Avenue has always been a name synonymous with the best wardrobe options for both men's and women's wear.
