 Krishna Mehta is the creative director of the brand'Krishna Mehta', established since 1988 and is one of the fastest growing designer brands in India with an international character and appeal with retail operations spread over 30 stores nationally and 20 stores across Scandinavia. Krishna is a designer, mentor and consultant in fashion related fields. She has bagged several awards such as:'The Fabled Peacock' award in 2001 from the Government of Gujarat, the'CMAI' award in 2004 for'The Best Designer' in the Menswear category, the Times of India Award in 2005 in recognition of usage of natural and khadi fabrics. Krishna is currently setting up a block printing unit in Gujarat to provide employment to the differently abled men and women.
