 The multi facetted Digvijay Singh is a fine arts graduate and a textile designer from the National Institute of Design. His approach can be termed as the ‘Renaissance of Fashion’ where he beautifully blends various cross-cultural elements. His ability to transform unpretentious materials like khadi into highly fashionable and desirable clothing is as delightful as it is commendable. A perfectionist by nature, his strength lies in his eye for details. He enjoys working like an artist on a garment – forgetting for sometime the conventions and rules set by others and just following his natural instinct. At the same time he manages to strike a perfect balance between art and design by constantly keeping the context in sight.
The prodigious eagle is a perfect symbol to describe his collection. It is elegant and authoritative, full of attitude and opulence and yet graceful.
