Araiya, the brain child of designer Arshiya Fakih Eappen was launched in Mumbai in November'1998. Araiya reputation in built upon its minimal styles & vibrant embroideries. Its philosophy draws inspiration from individual clients. After graduating, Arshiya studied Fine Arts at the J.J. School of Fine Arts. From there she headed to the National Institute of Fashion Technology and then to the Fashion Institute of Technology (New York). Araiya's production capacity is over 8,000 pieces per month. Other than retailing in India & abroad, add designing and production for malls, uniform designing, & fashion shows, and you gain a glimpse into the animated, nonstop activity in & around Araiya.
