The Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) an ISO 9001:2000 certification is established jointly by the textile industry and the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India in 1975 for conducting and promoting fundamental & applied research and providing other support services to strengthen the Indian textile, garment and allied industries.
NITRA is helping Indian textile & garment industry for the past 32 years in multiple ways such as research & development, technical consultancy, quality evaluation of textiles, chemicals, dyes, effluents, leather and plastic, and HRD activities including manpower training for textile & garment industry.
